Which e-scooter is the right one for me?
Finding the right electric vehicle is not always the easiest thing to do. Depending on your needs and life situation, there are certain questions that need to be considered carefully. Road traffic, power, durability and everyday habits play essential roles in deciding the right e-scooter.
How much distances do you cover?
Range, range and again range! If you set off with your freshly charged e-scooter, you don't want to stop again after a short distance to recharge the battery. Here, too, a scooter with a lithium-ion battery is certainly recommended. However, the range of the different models varies greatly.
Do you ride e-scooters for fun?
For those who do not use their e-scooter on a daily basis, but prefer to use the vehicle for the fun factor, a model with power is recommended. These e-scooters are not always approved for road use, but are properly suited for extreme inclines and rough terrain.

Do you additionally travel by public transport?
From home to the train station and then from the train to the office? No problem, as long as you don't lug around an unwieldy and heavy package. Many of our e-scooters are foldable and therefore super easy to stow away on the train or in the car. In addition, many models have become the perfect everyday companion thanks to lightweight aluminium frames.
Do you ride in traffic?
Do you travel certain distances on the road? This is not a problem as long as you are riding a model with road approval. E-scooters and e-scooters with road approval are regulated by law and may be ridden up to a power of max. 500 watts without having to redeem them at the road traffic office. In addition, the lighting and the brakes play an important role in gaining an e-scooter road approval. The respective model must therefore have both a functioning front light and an intact rear light. In addition, brakes are required on both wheels of the e-scooter. If the model meets all these requirements for power, lighting and brakes, it has a valid e-scooter road permit. For more powerful models with more than 500 watts of power, the driver needs a valid driver's license and the vehicle must be registered at the traffic office.

Do you have a driving license?
There are ways to drive an e-scooter without a driving license. This can prove to be a very useful alternative in the event of a licence withdrawal or non-car drivers. Ensure your own mobility with an e-scooter or scooter model that travels up to 20 km/h (25 km/h with pedal assistance). These models are permitted for people the ageed 16 and upwards and may be driven without a helmet and without any identification.

Are you looking for an alternative to your normal motorbike?
Are you looking for a long-term alternative to your motorbike or car? If so, an e-scooter with road approval, enough power and range is recommended. Models that exceed the power of max. 500 watts must, like our normal everyday vehicle, be registered with the traffic office. However, this is no big deal when you consider the fact that the annual service and, of course, the fuel as a cost item are omitted. An ecological alternative to petrol engines.
